For over twenty years, Portland's YOB have been pioneering the doom metal genre with crushing, rolling songs underlaid by stoic lyricism. Following lead singer and guitarist Mike Scheidt's scary brush with death in 2017, YOB returned this year with the incredible album, "Our Raw Heart", with reflections on fighting to climb out of whatever hole you might be in - and appreciating the journey as you do.
